ClockDVA was a prominent band on the Sheffield scene. Martin Fry of Vice Versa/ABC was one of the followers of them and wished to join them. Martin wrote about them in his fanzine 'Modern Drugs'. After leaving 'The Future', Adi teamed up with 'Judd', his friend and they formed Clockdva, a name taken from the film 'A Clockwork Orange'.
Their first mark on vinyl was on the EP 'The First 15 Minutes', produced by Vice Versa's label Neutron Records. Shortly afterwards they released their first official album 'White Souls in Black Suits', released by Industrial Records.
